Will You Miss Me When I’m Gone?

 

AHH, the time has come again to face the sad reality that some trends don’t last forever. It’s a bummer to me. I rationalized for month’s about weather or not the skull scarf trend was something I could pull off. It’s not exactly a whimsical statement and perhaps when viewed by the average Joe, they might think I’m somewhat of a trouble maker! After all, only weirdo’s wear skulls, right? But, then you see someone like Christina Aguilera wearing one and it sort of softens the scariness and turns it into daring, edgy and cool. Maybe I’m over thinking it but truly, just as I got the nerve up to sport one of those skull scarves, I read in the LA Times that it’s over. Honestly, I was a little relieved! To my delight however, the LA Times did report on the new trends to look out for in 2008 are charming, ladylike, pulled together looks. Now that’s a statement I’m ready to make!
