Here's what I plan to wear to the beach on Saturday: Remember I got this caftan at the DIVAS Shop for Opera event? I feel like Blanche Devereaux from the Golden Girls in it and that makes me laugh. I'm also packing the Tuccia di Capri sandals I had made at Henri Bendel, which will be my go-to casual flats for the weekend.

Saturday night will be a little dressier, so I'm trying out the neon trend in this Banana Republic Monogram dress (it's kinda shocking pink in person--the lighting in this photo isn't great). I topped it off with a studded belt I bought at Trash & Vaudeville and a simple patent clutch to stash my stuff in whilst I probably get rowdy on a dancefloor.

I'm getting into the patriotic spirit in my Sunday casual daytime/beach outfit: The same denim skirt from Friday, a little 3/4 sleeve striped top, and a beach bag actually made from the recycled sail of a boat! I'll probably wear this home or throw on a clean T-shirt and the same skirt.
