We tirelessly scour the fashion mags and the Internet for the latest in hot styles. Fashion and beauty can be so fickle sometimes – one day a look is in, the next it's a pop culture joke.



We are not sure what to think of the whole "match your lipstick to your bag" thing that seems to be cropping up. Sure, if you have a cherry red bag, it would look great to match your lips to your bag. No matter what skin tone you are, cherry red lips look good on everyone!

Blue lips, however, don't look good. We love our Madeleine Padlock Tote, but we wouldn't match it to our lips. Your lips should only be blue if you are choking on something – and let's hope that doesn't happen anytime soon!

We also have a hard time trying to see the fashion statement in a pair of lips that would match this Nautical Tote. How about a neutral pink or flesh-toned lip gloss and this bag? We think that's better than mustard-looking lips.




Olive Carly Tote - 48.00

Love the bag, skip the trend! If anyone tried to paint our lips the color of this bright Carly Shoulder Tote we are not sure if we would laugh or cry. But at least we would have the bag to console us.
